Changing Systems

Our approach is directly aligned with the Men’s Health Strategy for England, which calls for services that are “co-designed, context-specific and connected to trusted settings for men such as workplaces, sports clubs and community venues.” Through the Men’s Wellbeing Alliance, we are putting this into practice across Walsall.
Amplfying Voices

We host forums, consultation opportunities and feedback loops so men’s lived experience shapes local wellbeing activity. This helps ensure support is co-produced, grounded in real community insight and responsive to men’s wants and needs.

Strategic Development

We bring partners together to share intelligence, identify gaps and coordinate action. This supports a whole-system approach where commissioners, public services, VCSE partners and community organisations can align around key priorities.

Training & Workforce Development

We support community members and partner organisations to build confidence in mental wellbeing conversations, early identification, safe boundaries and signposting.

Reaching Men Where They Are

We engage men in trusted, everyday settings supporting the national shift from reactive services to community-based prevention and improves access for men less likely to use formal support.

Marketing & Signposting

We use clear, non-stigmatising campaigns, printed materials, QR codes and trusted local spaces to help men find support earlier. Improving wellbeing literacy, reducing stigma and making services, groups and activities more accesible

Digital Hub

We provide a central online space for men, professionals and partners to find wellbeing information, local activities, support services and referral routes. The website supports both public-facing engagement and professional coordination through accessible, up-to-date information

Ambassadors

We recruit and support local men and trusted connectors who can have informal conversations, share wellbeing messages and guide men toward support. Ambassadors extend the reach of the programme into communities, workplaces and peer networks where formal services may not reach.

Grant Giving

Through the Stronger Together Fund, we support grassroots and community-led men’s wellbeing activity. Small grants help local groups test practical ideas, reach underserved men, build social connection and feed learning back into the wider system.
